EPI Epicure Speakers EPI A120 2 Way 10" Woofer 1" Tweeter Fresh Rebuild DALAUDIO- Original. The EPI A120 is the updated rare big brother to the famous EPI 100. While the well known EPI 100s have a well deserved signature full tight sound, the EPI A120's have a expansive low to mid advantage due to larger driver and cabinet size. The crossover is a single 10uf Capacitor filtering lows from the tweeter, giving the speaker superior midrange for a 2 way design. This design was less expensive to manufacture but stood up well in the sound quality dept versus more expensive speakers in the 1970-80s. There is no messy glue or rubbing voice coils here. If you're looking for a vintage "mid century" styled pair of loudspeakers that also perform excellent, these EPI A120's should be on your list. Ready to go! All the resto-work is completed.
Condition: The woofers were recently refoamed by DALAUDIO, and sound excellent. Crossover caps were checked, are original and found to be in working order. The 10" Burhoe designed 10" Drivers and 1" Air Sprung Inverted Dome Tweeters were hand made by EPI, and are also original. Overall the vinyl wood grain cabinets are in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear. Cabinets are air tight as they should be. The original grills are included and in good usable condition with all posts intact and no tears etc.
