Bose Direct Reflecting "Passive" (no internal amp) Subwoofers - this unit was designed to be used with almost any two channel stereo receiver system that did not have sub outputs. You simply run both receiver L & R channels to the sub L & R speakers input terminal, and then run speakers cables from the subs L&R Speaker Out to your existing speakers. The Bose sub has a passive crossover that removes low frequency that is fed to the driver in the sub, and the output terminals pass the rest of the audio to your existing speakers! very easy to use.
Hard to find in very good condition (see photos), this unit has been tested and works great! If you are trying to add a sub and have no outputs or power and just a two channels receiver this might be a great place to start!
