Nakamichi BX-1 2-Head Cassette Deck Made in Japan New Drive Belts/Tire Serviced - DALAUDIO Recent Service included: New Main Belt, Counter Belt, Idler Drive Rubber. - Cleaned, lubricated, adjusted and tested. Playback and record head cleaned. Includes copy of manual. The sound is quite surprising with a prerecorded or good quality recorded tape. Nice touch controls, and easy to use. Will easily drag and play C120 or C90s. Not quite vintage but close, 1982-84 unit. Overall very good player.

Unit Features: This Nakamichi BX-1 is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was first sold by Nakamichi in 1982 with a recommended retail price of USD $299 and discontinued 2 years later in 1984. The Nakamichi BX-1 has: 2 heads, mechanical 3 digit tape counter, memory stop, manual tape type selection and is capable of handling normal, chrome and metal tapes with additional manual equalization selection, belt driven single-capstan transport.
BX-1 level meters are digital LED peak reading meters. It has a full-logic transport control that responds to the slightest finger contact. The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies. The switchable MPX filter out the FM Broadcast "pilot signal" and assuring proper Dolby processing of FM stereo programs. Includes headphone jack (no volume control). .
