More details: The speakers are coated in beautiful gloss black, with black grills that will fit in just about anywhere. The B&W CM5 model employs a 6.5-inch woven Kevlar mid-bass driver and a 1-inch Nautilus tube-loaded aluminum dome tweeter. B&W's patented Nautilus design provides theoretically perfect sound reproduction. The B&W CM5 speakers work well in home systems, no matter how large or small the room might be. It's difficult to point to a rival here that looks as classy or, indeed, can claim to be as technologically advanced. Looks are quite impressive.
Sound: With moderate power these easily show detail and exhibit a spacious soundstage in surround mode, and present a precise and focused stereo image. These two-way speakers are comfortable to listen to. These speakers provide big sound without taking up space on the floor. They have excellent bass extension and good mid-range. High frequencies stay crisp up to 50 kilohertz. Bass and mids are clear and present. The higher tones may be ever so slight slightly muted. Subtle details in the higher regions are very tight and clear. Please read the reviews as they are excellent speakers and have very good feedback. They can be used with a center speaker for front or rear in surround applications or by themselves for stereo bookshelf /stands.
